Drive-Thru Teller – Waterville Branch

KSW Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated Drive-Thru Teller to join our Waterville team! Position Overview

As a Drive-Thru Teller, you will be the first point of contact for many of our members. You’ll process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. You’ll also have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our members by offering helpful information about our products and services and connecting them to the right resources to meet their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding member service by greeting members promptly, courteously, and professionally — in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Process routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Balance cash drawers daily by maintaining proper controls, tracking transactions, and promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • Promote KSW products and services by actively listening to member needs and suggesting appropriate solutions such as savings accounts, loans, or online banking tools.
  • Refer members to the appropriate departments or team members for specialized assistance such as lending, new accounts, or member services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard member information in accordance with credit union standards and federal regulations.
  • Assist with operational tasks including vault transactions, daily reports, and other branch duties as needed to support smooth operations.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, and cooperation with co-workers and management.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent KSW Federal Credit Union with integrity, professionalism, and a member-first attitude at all times.

Requirements

  • Motivated and service-driven individual with a strong desire to help others and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
  • Minimum of six months of teller, cashiering, or related experience that demonstrates strong accuracy and responsibility in handling cash.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional when resolving member concerns.
  • Dependable and punctual, with a solid work ethic and commitment to reliability.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent the credit union in a positive and trustworthy manner.
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework or previous financial services experience preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and financial software systems.
